Transnational solidarity and cinema – A podcast conversation
Recently Svetla Turnin and I were invited to join a roundtable discussion as part of the Foyer Conversations Podcast, which is in turn part of the Cinema of Commoning Project. We were joined by two awesome, radical film guests and the equally amazing hosts Nataša Prljević from HEKLER and independent curator and writer Nasrin Hamada. It was a lively and rewarding conversation about solidarity and transnationality in cinema, including when we discussed the hesitation of some on the left to move away from the word solidarity altogether.
