After a 2018 Curator-In-Residency sting at Concordia Unviversity’s fabulous VCR – Visual Collections Repository, where I was tasked with animating the film archives, I was inspired to keep going with the work. That initial time spent pouring over hundreds of films from various “settler cinemas” (USA, Canada, UK, Australia) was enlightening and invigorating.
